Star City Academy is a parent-run home school ministry through which parents pool their resources and talents to expose children to fun and educational classes and activities. It is distinctly Christian in nature but has an open membership to any who will respect that distinction.
Star City Academy is here to provide affordable, alternative learning opportunities and unique experiences that a large group affords. We will limit class-size to ensure a small group atmosphere and to keep the instruction academically challenging.
We are a community of people intentionally partnering together to help mentor the next generation for successful and courageous living through Jesus Christ.

What are the school hours?
9am-3:30pm
What is Drop off and Pick up time?
Are the class sizes limited?
Yes! We want to keep that homeschool feel. Classes will be limited to 8-10 children with 1 teacher and 1 assistant.
Will there be a wait list if spots fill up?
Yes! We will definitely have a wait list in case a family is not able to participate.
What if some of my kids get into their age group class, and the class for my other child/children is full. Will an exception be made so all my children can participate?
Yes! We will make an exception in this case.
If I pay in advance for the month or year will I get a discounted rate?
No. Not at this time.
Can I bring my child to 1 or 2 classes a week only?
Yes! Each class will be $10 a week per child. You will still need to register, and you will need to pay for each class at check-in with a check or cash. An envelope will be provided.
Can I pay by check?
Yes! Please make all checks payable to Star City Church, and write Academy on the memo line.
When is payment due each week?
Your payment must be made by Sunday for the upcoming week. You will be paying for the week in advance. If paying by cash or check you can bring it to check-in Monday morning.
Can I start paying early so I have a positive balance when school starts?
Yes! As soon as you receive your confirmation email you can start paying.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes! You can pay monthly or even yearly.
Why am I paying a fee to register?
The fee is to save your spot since space is limited. We need to know if you are serious about joining. The fee will apply to your first week of school.
Is the fee refundable?
No. Not at this time.
